I started the project with two unrigged car models, a rigged male dummy and a 1950&#8217;s theme.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Roadblock Previs Test\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/519157347?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"584\" height=\"309\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;Isles Of Wonder&#8221; Opening Ceremony &#8211; London 2012 Olympic Games<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-244\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tickledesigns.co.uk:\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/PrevisMontageBoard.jpg\" alt=\"PrevisMontageBoard\" width=\"1000\" height=\"749\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tickledesigns.co.uk:\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/PrevisMontageBoard.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.tickledesigns.co.uk:\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/PrevisMontageBoard-300x224.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Above is a montage of some of the shots I previsulaised for Danny Boyle.<br \/>\nI was employed by Crystal CG and supervised by Union VFX&#8217;s Adam Gascoyne .<br \/>\nDuring the four months of winter 2010-11 (the one with loads of snow),<br \/>\nin a secure studio (no phones, no Ipods and no internet!)<br \/>\nI co-created a 25-minute pre-visualization CG film of the opening ceremony.<br \/>\nThe film was used in presentations to various \u2018top people\u2019 including the Olympic committee and illustrated Danny&#8217;s plan for the opening ceremony.<br \/>\nI was responsible for the entire doves sequence and cooperatively with James Eisner, the \u201criverview\u201d and \u201ccauldron lighting sequence\u201d.<br \/>\nUnfortunately due to the secrecy of the event only one copy was ever made and post the affair it promptly disappeared into a secret bunker at an undisclosed location.<br \/>\nSo we will have to make do with the live shots instead &#8211; much to my chagrin.
